Product Warranty
The CERES TAG Product Warranty is provided by CERES TAG LTD ABN 51 614 436 467 of 58-62 Gilbert Road, Lutwyche QLD 4030 Australia. The terms of the CERES TAG Product Warranty are set out in clause 4.7 of our Terms of Service.
The benefits given to you in the CERES TAG Product Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under applicable consumer protection law in relation to the CERES TAG products.
For Australian purchases: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
CERES TAG warrants that during the period of (in the case of a Tag) 21 days after the Tag is activated,(Warranty Period) the Products will be free from workmanship defects.
Note: The warranty does not cover the following:

Satellite service or defects resulting from:

Incorrect application, installation, activation, or use of the Tag (including not following CERES TAG’s provided instructions or directions).

Modification, repair, or other work performed by anyone other than CERES TAG or a CERES TAG-approved service provider.

Use with unauthorized or incompatible products.

Misuse, neglect, or abuse of the product.

Animal behavior or treatment that causes damage to the product.

Environmental conditions that exceed the limits outlined in the product specifications.
Voided Warranty
The warranty for a Tag becomes void if:

The Tag is applied or activated using any device or tool other than those provided by CERES TAG (e.g., CERES TAG applicator or CERES TAG activation tool).

Non-CERES TAG pins are used to secure the Tag on the animal.

The Tag is opened or disassembled in any way.

To apply for a warranty, please follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1: Contact Your Place of Purchase
Reach out to the retailer or store where you purchased your CERES TAG product. They will assist you in processing your warranty claim.
Step 2: Provide Proof of Purchase
Ensure that you have your original proof of purchase ready. This could be a receipt, order confirmation, or any other document that clearly indicates the date and place of purchase.
Step 3: Provide Evidence of the Defect
You will need to provide clear evidence of the defect to support your warranty claim. This can be in the form of a video or photo that clearly shows the issue.
