Delivery, Warranty & Returns
The policies below describe CERES TAG’s processes for delivery, return, and refunds of CERES TAG products purchased through the CERES TAG website. These policies must be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service, which provides the terms and conditions for your purchase of CERES TAG products.
Delivery Policy
Our deliveries across the world are handled by registered couriers suited to each product destination and provided by a third-party logistics company.
CERES TAG products are high-quality, made-to-order items. Current manufacturing lead times may vary depending on global supply chains at the time.
Following the completed manufacturing of your order, you will be notified via email with tracking advice. Once dispatched, your order delivery will be subject to a suitable Courier based on your delivery location unless indicated otherwise on the website.
The costs associated with the delivery of your order, as well as the relevant tax costs, will be calculated at the checkout.
Any Customs Duties will be payable by you to Customs at the time of import of your item/s into your country to allow successful import clearance/ delivery of your purchase. Our product and shipping fees are exclusive of Customs Duties. These Import Duties are unavoidable and are enforced by your country’s border protection laws.
CERES TAG is not responsible for the incorrect delivery of your order in the event you have incorrectly entered your delivery information. Please notify us as soon as possible if you identify a problem with the delivery information for your order.

Return Policy
CERES TAG does not accept returns if you change your mind, or you incorrectly placed an order.
Due to national and international biosecurity laws, CERES TAG does not accept physical return of tags that have been in any contact with animals, animal products or on farms. CERES TAG does not accept returns of CERES TAG products unless:
a) the return is approved by CERES TAG under the Product Warranty or
the CERES TAG product otherwise does not comply with applicable consumer protection law.
In the event you believe you are eligible for a return, please contact us at info@cerestag.com.
To ensure this process proceeds as promptly as possible, please include the following in your initial email:
- the email that you placed the order with
- your name
- the original order number
- the details of the product you are looking to return – VID number or Batch number
- evidence of your perceived problem with the product and any additional information or imagery (photographs, video or other means) that may be relevant to processing your claim. Imagery should be clear and detailed. If the performance of the tag is a concern, please ensure the tag is clean of all dirt, grime and bodily matter for clarity of the issue.
- your intended outcome if the claim is approved – refund, replacement or, at your election, a store credit
If your intention is to return multiple products please provide the above information for each product within the one email.
Please note that where you select a refund, only the purchase price of the product paid by you will be refunded. This does not include the cost of shipping and customs paid by you.
Our team will advise as to the progress of your return within a reasonable timeframe from receipt.
Where your claim is approved by CERES TAG, and you have selected a:
- repair or replacement of a CERES TAG product, CERES TAG will arrange for the repair or replacement (as necessary) of the CERES TAG product at no cost to you; or
- refund, CERES TAG will process your refund within reasonable timeframe; or
- store credit, CERES TAG will issue your store credit in accordance with the Store Credit Policy.
Product Warranty
The CERES TAG Product Warranty is provided by CERES TAG LTD ABN 51 614 436 467 of 58-62 Gilbert Road, Lutwyche QLD 4030 Australia. The terms of the CERES TAG Product Warranty are set out in clause 4.7 of our Terms of Service.
The benefits given to you in the CERES TAG Product Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under applicable consumer protection law in relation to the CERES TAG products.
For Australian purchases: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Consumer Guarantees). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage that has been shown beyond reasonable doubt to not have been caused by the application of the tag, the animal behaviour, an act of god or natural disaster or environmental conditions beyond the parameters in which the product was designed and manufactured. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality, and the failure does not amount to a major failure within the boundaries described above and could not have been prevented by CERES TAG. See clause 9 of our Terms of Service for further details.
To make a claim under the Product Warranty during the Warranty Period, you will need to contact CERES TAG at info@cerestag.com to register your claim and provide us with details to assess your claim.

If your intention is to claim for multiple products please provide the above information for each product within the one email. Please note that the cost of shipping, tax and customs paid and calculated at the checkout are non-refundable and will not be included in your warranty claim.
Our team will generally advise as to the progress of your claim within a reasonable time frame from receipt of your email.
Where your claim is approved by CERES TAG, and you have selected a:
- repair or replacement of a CERES TAG product, CERES TAG will arrange for the repair or replacement (as necessary) of the CERES TAG product at no cost to you; or
- refund, CERES TAG will process your refund within a reasonable timeframe; or
- store credit, CERES TAG will issue your store credit in accordance with the Store Credit Policy.
Store Credit
Where your return of a CERES TAG product is approved under the Product Warranty, you have the option to select a credit for the purchase price of the returned product (excluding delivery costs, tax and custom duties) which can be used to purchase other CERES TAG products (Store Credit).
- Store Credit issued via the Ceres Tag website can only be used online on the Ceres Tag website.
- Store Credit cannot be purchased and is only provided when it is the outcome of an approved warranty claim as selected by you on initiating your warranty claim.
- Store Credit cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded in the event you are unable to use it.
- Store Credit expires 12 months after issue. In the event you are unable to use your Store Credit prior to the expiry date your Store Credit will be forfeited.
- Store Credit is linked to the email address that was used to purchase the Ceres Tag product on the original order number. Store Credit cannot be transferred to another person or account.
- Any purchase that exceeds the value of the Store Credit will require an additional method of payment.
