KANSAS CITY, MO. Goats have returned to the Heritage Riverfront Trail in Kansas City for the fourth consecutive year to conduct eco-friendly vegetation removal.

Goats Gone Green operates as part of the Alvis Goat Ranch in LaTour, MO. Every year, several dozen goats are deployed to tackle approximately two acres of overgrown land along the trail.

The primary benefit of this method is to avoid using chemical pesticides or sprays that could contaminate the Missouri River. This approach ensures environmental protection while managing the unwanted vegetation.

Kyle Alvis has been using CERES TAG to "track the goats especially in an urban setting where there is a lot of people and making sure [the goats] are staying where they should and that they are healthy and well." said Matthew Randerson.
